Creating The Perfect Resume
Your resume is a tool with a very specific purpose: to win an interview. A great resume doesn’t just tell a potential employer what your qualifications are; it convinces an employer that you have what it takes to be successful. Your resume should encourage an employer to want to learn more about you. A well-crafted resume will encourage the prospective employer to pick up the phone and ask you to come in for an interview.
Hiring Managers are busy people and do not have the time to search a resume for the key qualifications they are seeking in candidates. A good resume will have a concise career summary at the beginning which tells the Hiring Manager how well qualified you are for the position you are seeking.
